  • what happened?

    This sounds more like user error…

    Hello trondeh80,

    That are tough words there :/

    Maybe we can help with those issues?

    Can you describe your problem?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

    @destac yep… ??

    This plugin is kinda abandoned, so be ready for issues ??

    I had to do a critical update to a clients site. But the cache was on total lock down. Refused to clear itself. Event after I uninstalled the plugin, the content was locked because of the cache. Had to manually delete wp-content/cache and all the plugin files before it finally updated the page.
    My client lost 1000$ a day while this content was up because of a legal dispute.

    From now on I am using wp_supercache.

    @destac:
    If this was a usererror, I am literally amazed over how easy it was to get into this mess. I’ve been working professionally with php for 15 years, and highly doubt my actions led to this awkard lockdown.

    Ahh the I have x amount of years doing this therefore I am incapable of making a mistake argument. I have the plugin running on sites I manage, and locally, and my own little dummy sites all works well and purges appropriately.

    Might have been a server issue, might have been a user error regardless someone somewhere is likely to blame ~ but you coming on here and cussing doesn’t help anyone I also saw your review

    “WP_supercache is probably a way better option as it generates static HTML files – which is literally the fastest way you can serve content to a user.”

    Ok but you do realize that W3TC does generate static HTML files.. Page Cache >> Disk Enhanced open up the FTP wp-content/cache/page_enhanced/all the static html files that you are looking for.

    Please tell me you tested everything and validated it all and rigorously tested it all on a development site first and did not put this straight onto a live site without doing so?
