    I have come to HATE this plugin… It seriously likes to go rogue and create hundreds of backups one after the other and fills your disk space and sends you email after email giving you the same information. At this moment I don’t have the backups happening because of this very reason and this morning I woke up to 8 emails, all sent within 1 minute of each other.

    Seriously need to look for another solution so I don’t spend all my time cleaning up after it.

    Are you running the latest release (6.2.1) of the plugin ?

    Have you done any troubleshooting ? Checked logs etc

    There may be a simple reason why this is happening.
    Have seen this issue being reported many times in the past.

    Have you tried configuring the plugin to use WP Cron for specific scheduled activities ? (which is highly recommended).

    For scheduled backups managed by WP Cron simply add the following line to the wp-config.php:

    define( 'ITSEC_BACKUP_CRON' , true );
