    Hi,

This plugin needs more options like entering product categories ( google taxonomies list) doesn’t exist here.

It also needs create file fetching content API only sometimes has issues.

The most annoying feature during operation is that there is no possibility to automatically synchronize all products in one mouse click, and it is not logical to synchronize 20 products at a time if we assume that I have 20 thousand products on the site.

Does it make sense for me to browse 1000 pages in order to auto-sync to record data again on Google so that it is not erased within 30 days?
Please solve these problems in the plugin to make it perform better.

    Hi @mohamedali86

We appreciate your feedback on our Google Listings & Ads plugin and understand the importance of your concerns.

This plugin needs more options like entering product categories ( google taxonomies list) doesn’t exist here.

We acknowledge the necessity of this feature for better product categorization, and will forward your suggestion to our development team for consideration in future updates.

It also needs create file fetching content API only sometimes has issues.

Could you please provide more details? This would greatly help our technical team understand the problem better and come up with a suitable solution. Are there any error messages you encounter? What are the specific circumstances under which this issue occurs?

For better assistance, can you provide screenshots showing the issue on your end? For screenshots, you may want to use https://snipboard.io – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

The most annoying feature during operation is that there is no possibility to automatically synchronize all products in one mouse click, and it is not logical to synchronize 20 products at a time if we assume that I have 20 thousand products on the site.

When you set up GL&A, it automatically adds all products from your WooCommerce store to your Product Feed, setting them to ‘Sync and show.’ Additionally, GL&A uses ActionScheduler to synchronize product data via the Content API for Shopping with the Merchant Center. To bypass API restrictions, avoid blocking, and enhance performance, we adhere to Google’s rules, limiting the number of products synced per action.

However, we understand how this can be inconvenient, especially if you have a large number of products. We want to assure you that we are constantly working to improve our plugin and we will take your suggestion into consideration.

We understand how this could be time-consuming and frustrating. However, Google Listings & Ads checks for expiring products and resubmits them. We’re currently exploring more efficient ways to handle this process, and your feedback will be invaluable in guiding these improvements.

Additionally, did you check our Google Product Feed plugin? It also allows you to create a real-time feed to supply product information to Google Merchant Center, a prerequisite for setting up Product Ads.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work on these improvements. Your feedback is crucial to us as we strive to provide our users with the best possible experience.

Thank you for using Google Listings & Ads and being an integral part of our community.

    Hi @mohamedali86,

As a follow-up to my colleague’s response, I’d like to share additional insights on your concerns.

This plugin needs more options like entering product categories ( google taxonomies list) doesn’t exist here.

All products are automatically assigned a product category from Google’s continuously evolving product taxonomy. Google Listings & Ads is developed in partnership with Google and their recommendation is to allow product categories to be automatically assigned – the extension not having an option to manually assigned Google product categories is deliberate per Google’s recommendation.

It also needs create file fetching content API only sometimes has issues.

I’m afraid this isn’t clear. Please clarify this.

The most annoying feature during operation is that there is no possibility to automatically synchronize all products in one mouse click, and it is not logical to synchronize 20 products at a time if we assume that I have 20 thousand products on the site.

I confirm Google Listings & Ads has the option to sync all products to Google Merchant Center (GMC) in one click. Here’s how to use it:

    1. Go to the debug page via exampe.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page (replace example.com with your domain name)
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the page, Under “Product Sync”, click “Sync All Products with Google Merchant Center”. This will sync all products to GMC.

While the feature to sync all products to GMC exists, you should hardly have to use it. Here’s why:

    • Typically, when you set up the extension all your products are automatically synced to Google Merchant Center. (Since all products are already synced, you don’t need to sync them again – only changes or new products need to be synced
    • When you update an existing product or publish a new product, it’s automatically synced to Google Merchant Center.
    • A daily update job is scheduled to run at 3 AM (store time) to re-sync expiring products and keep them active.

This means the option to sync all products to GMC is only needed on rare occasions – a good example is when you import a large product catalog or make bulk edits and need to quickly sync changes to GMC.

Does it make sense for me to browse 1000 pages in order to auto-sync to record data again on Google so that it is not erased within 30 days?
Please solve these problems in the plugin to make it perform better.

Could you please provide additional insight on this? If you’re noticing that scheduled actions or cron jobs aren’t running due to your site not getting traffic, you can overcome this by using a service that pings your site periodically such as the?Jetpack – Downtime / Uptime Monitoring service. Please see alternative methods to triggering the WP-Cron.

It’s worth clarifying that issue you’re referring to is actually a WordPress limitation (A general WordPress problem). Any WordPress feature/plugin that relies on WP Cron requires traffic to run. A good alternative is setting up a server cron)

Thanks, @sukafia and @shameemreza for your answers, I have searched many times to find a way to sync all products in one click, many thanks.

This is what I’m searching for

the phrase “It also needs create file fetching content API only sometimes has issues” means that Since automatic synchronization of all products did not exist, the best solution was to create an external file to extract data from it in XML format or any other format for easy fetch.

Hi @mohamedali86, we’re always happy to help.

the phrase “It also needs create file fetching content API only sometimes has issues” means that Since automatic synchronization of all products did not exist, the best solution was to create an external file to extract data from it in XML format or any other format for easy fetch.

I’m guessing that now you know you can automatically sync all products, that addresses this question as well. Just to clarify, Google Listings & Ads automatically sync products via Google’s content API, it doesn’t generate an XML feed file.

    I hope this helps!

Thanks @sukafia for your support, it is now more easy to sync all products with one click, I have asked this question considering that is no way to sync all products in one click.

I don’t know this way in that time.

    Thanks much
