this plugin support the smtp ?

  • I use the easy wp smtp plugin to send the email , and I install Simple Basic Contact Form plugin, put the [simple_contact_form] to a page and send the test mail ,when click the send email button “Success! Your message has been sent.” but the General Options setting email address have no received the email

    In WP admin > Settings > Contact Form, there is an option called “Mail Function” with the label “Use PHP’s mail() instead of WP’s wp_mail()”

    Make sure that checkbox is not checked so the plugin uses the regular wp_mail function which plugins like Easy WP SMTP intercept and do their thing.

    If it is like that and you do not receive the emails then please install WP Mail Logging plugin and then try the contact form.

    After you do that go to WP admin > Tools > WP Mail Log, and you should see that email logged there, does it show any errors?
