Seems to me that many people that desire this functionality, need more than one configuration.

Presently, there is a settings page and I can add taxonomies and meta to the filter, which is amazing btw. But what if there are multiple post types, and you want to apply different meta and taxonomies to each one? Presently, that is not possible.

    Example:

Movies – You would want to filter Years, Genre, etc…
Directors – Wouldn’t want to filter by the same rules as Movies, because they aren’t applicable.

For me, without functionality to create multiple filters this plugin is useless. I would assume most websites with multiple post types would also find this plugin useless (unless search functionality was only needed for one type)

I agree with dskvr. This plugin is sorely missing a few things. In my case, having the ability to filter (exclude) categories would be very useful and would clean up the dropdown lists considerably. I have a lot of categories, and not being able to exclude the ones I don’t want to appear in a dropdown list, while not useless, makes for a messy dropdown list. Filtering (excluding) by category ID is all that’s needed.

Also, having the ability list and filter on post tags would be extremely handy as well. Just my 2 cents worth.
