• New to WordPress and have been following tutorials and was able to get my site up and running. It has been up without issue for a few weeks, and i have been adding articles via the Posts area. Yesterday I added my fifth post, and changed nothing else. Now when I try and login I get the “This site can’t be reached” message.

Not sure what version of wordpress I am using as I can’t login, but I have been installing updates as they are showing available, so I assume it’s the latest version.

    My site is: type2take2.com
    Theme: Optimizepress

    Any help is appreciated.

    DJ

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
