    I’m getting the infamous “This slideshow requires JavaScript” error when creating a gallery within a post.

      -jQuery is being loaded.
      -wp_head() is in header.php
      -wp_footer() is in footer.php
      -I’m not getting any errors in my console.
      -Carousel is “activated”

    Here is a link to a page where you can see an example: https://blogs.columbian.com/vancouveater/test-post/

    Thank you

    I can’t seem to access your site at the moment. Could you let me know as soon as your site is back up?

    Thanks!

    The site is up and should be working just fine. What kind of error are you getting?

    I just get a timeout error, in my browser or in the terminal:

    $ curl -I https://blogs.columbian.com/vancouveater/test-post/
    curl: (7) Failed to connect to blogs.columbian.com port 80: Operation timed out

    What country/ip are you viewing from? I wonder if our network admin has blocked out of country/IP’s from accessing.

    That’s most likely. I can’t view your site from Hungary, but my colleagues could access it from the US.

    The 2 Javascript files used to render the slideshow appear to be missing from your site.

    Could you try to deactivate all other plugins, one at a time, until the slideshow starts working, so we can find out what plugin causes the files not to be enqueued on your site?

    Thanks!

    Which 2 files are you expecting to see?

    jquery.cycle.js and slideshow-shortcode.js, both in the wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/shortcodes/js directory. They’re there on your site, they’re just not enqueued, while the slideshow’s CSS file is enqueued, which leads me to think that another plugin stops them from being enqueued.

    Let me know how it goes!

    I deactivated all plugins and it didn’t do anything.

    Could you try to switch to one of the default themes for a few minutes, and see if the files get enqueued?

    I am having the same issue my site is https://baileyparkproject.org/.
