    Hi, I can’t translate my site (made with Elementor) since a couple of week. Every time I try to add a translations it says “This string is not ready yet. Try again later”. In the console there aren’t errors, I’ve updated all the plugins, I’ve disabled the cache plugin and tried different browsers, but the problem is still there. Can someone help?

    Hi,

    If you are hosted by WP Engine, you can make it work by adding the following to your site’s wp-config.php:

    define( 'WPE_GOVERNOR', false );

    This topic is treated also on our troubleshooting page -> “Not working on WP engine hosting” section

    If not, please try a compatibility test. There are chances other plugins, minification type probably, affect our editor. Disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. If this fixes the problem, enable everything one by one or in small bulks, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Hi, thanks for your answer. I’m not hosted by a WP Engine, so the first solution doesn’t work.

    I’ve already tried a compatibility test, I think it could be a conflict with Smash Balloon because when it is disabled and I clear cache it seems to work. The strange thing is that in diagnostic mode it works even if it is activated. I’m going to contact them for more information, but can you help me in the meantime?
