I have been trying to use the gutentor image slider block with this theme, it has been impossible

It works with other themes. with this theme instead of sliding the images it shows them stacked over each other at the same time.

The debbuger seems to indicate that this theme prevents the gutentor plugin from loading its js and css files, as they don’t appear on the sources.

gutentor uses the “slick” library for the slider.

    Any suggestions?

  • Hello @jajajaramillo ,

We could not replicate the issue you mentioned with the “Responsive” theme and “Gutentor” plugin installed on our local sites.
We found the image slider feature to be working with no visible errors.

Could you please let us know the steps for replicating this issue? Are there any errors visible in the console of your browser?

Also, could you please share the details about the following –
    1. WordPress version installed on your site.
    2. PHP version installed.
    3. Responsive theme version.
    4. Gutentor plugin version.

    steps for recreating the issue:
use responsive theme without aditional css
configure the global width at a 1600px container
    select the “in boxes” style
use the gutentor plugin for adding a slides widget block to the woocommerce shop page, adding three 1600px * 500px image items to the slides (one for every slide)
results: no controls visible, the gutentor javascript library apparently not loaded, images appear all at the same time, one above the other.

    WordPress 5.8.1
    Responsive Versión: 4.7.0
    php version 7.4
    gutentor Versión 3.1.5

    No errors in the console

    Hello @jajajaramillo ,

Thank you for the detailed information and the steps to reproduce this issue.

It appears that this plugin or this particular block from the “Gutentor Plugin” is not compatible with the WooCommerce shop page.

We also checked this issue with the default WordPress themes like “Twenty Twenty-One”, “Twenty Twenty”, “Twenty Nineteen”, and got the same output.

Thus, we suggest you raise a support ticket on either WooCommerce or Gutentor plugin’s support forum.
