This theme is great, as long as you don't need to customize it

  • Try making a child-theme for this. Such a headache. Changing little things in footer and header takes too long. Such a shame!

    Never mind. I’m going to make my owm theme.

    I found it really easy to create a child theme for this–I guess it depends on the amount of customization required. All I wanted to do was change colors and fonts.

    A child theme is easy to create, if all you need to edit is CSS. But it is a pain to make small structural changes… For example try adding a new div between the hgroup-wrap div and page-title-wrap div in the header….
