I use ManageWP to monitor my website’s uptime and performance. Since installing CleanTalk I keep getting notifications from ManageWP that the website is down. It appears to be fine to me as a human user.

When I look at the “Uptime Monitoring” details in ManageWP, I see the message “This url is forbidden.” Is CleanTalk blocking ManageWP?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello, @firebugmichelle.

Please, disable the CleanTalk plugin and monitor the situation a bit.

    Does the issue persist?

So far the issue goes away when I disable cleantalk. I would like to give it a night or two before I say for sure though.

I re-activated CleanTalk yesterday. It and ManageWP appear to be playing nicely now. I am not sure if you or ManageWP had an update or if it was just a little hiccup on my site. Either way, thank you! I am still in the 7-day trial period but so far Cleantalk looks like a keeper!

Updating again. The site was fine overnight and most of today. But at 3-something I started getting “This URL is forbidden” errors again. I’ll watch for if you come up with any solutions. It is strange that everything worked fine for several hours. And like I said, my site seems to be working fine. Could ManageWP be connecting with a new IP that you need to whitelist or something?

    Thank you for your feedback.

I’ve added 7 days to your license. Perhaps you have any errors in your webserver logs? You can find your error log in your hosting account.

You can also check your anti-spam log here:
    https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests?int=week
    https://cleantalk.org/my/show_sfw

Maybe you spot any wrong filtering.

I found a list of IPs for ManageWP and compared them against what CleanTalk is blocking from my site. There weren’t any matches.

I tried installing CleanTalk on a second website. ( UnfairMom.com ) I got less “uptime errors” but I still got several. As with my first site, it looks like the website is fine. But ManageWP is having occasional problems communicating while CleanTalk is running. I contacted them too and am waiting on a response.

I don’t have access to server error logs, but I did install an error log plugin and create the required error log page. I have been watching for a few days now. All I am getting are occasional spam-related errors that start like:

WordPress database error Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8mb4_unicode_520_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation ‘=’ for query SELECT comment_ID FROM …..

The other plugins that have been activated on that first site this whole time are:
    Ads.txt Manager
    Autoptimize
    Beaver Builder Plugin (Pro Version)
    Really Simple SSL
    Wordfence Security
    WordPress HTTPS
    Yoast SEO

Can I see a complete text of any of these errors?

    Best regards,
