Thousand of .tmp files generated by Wordfence

    Hello! I just find out hundreds of .tmp Wordfence files in a folder of my hosting, and this folder is accessible only via SSH connection to the account. It’s more than 1.5 GB per website, and it’s starting to create storage issues.

    I have a few questions:
    – What are those files about? And is it safe to delete them to save some space?
    – How can I stop Wordfence from generating these files?

  • What are some of the file names? Wordfence usually does not create and save temp files so providing some more detail will help us understand the issue better.
