THousands of votes in one day

I installed this yesterday on a non-profit. Today, there are thousands (in one case over 8000) votes. Obviously, these are not real votes. Are they bots?

So there is no way I can limit votes to one per person without paying?

If so, I’ll have to redo the entire thing and install something else. Because if you can’t limit votes to one per user, it make it quite useless, as seen per my one day install.

Update: Apparently, they already sent the email out to the schools with the link to this page. So, the votes are being forged since there is no apparent security. And therefore, it is not a contest. It is a game. Who can click the most?

Our longtime efforts in the school contest have been effectively ruined.
