threaded comments and paged comments problem

  • i enabled my paged comments showing only 10 comments per page.
    i also have threaded comments enabled

    on one post i have 29 comments with a lot of nested ones. but when i try to view the page, it doesn’t show any of the comments unless I go to the previous comment page.

    what happens is if I only have 5 parent comments and the rest child comments (total of 29 comments), i will have 3 pages of comments but pages 2 and 3 are empty.

    how will i let my theme count the parent comments only for its paged comments feature?

  • where do you change to more the 10 comments, thats the same issue i am having right now. I have 64 comments and only 10 being shown?
