• Hello,
I have had a non conclusive and bad experience with someone I took a Forex training with.
He is threatening me to ‘blitz my sites’ if I give bad reviews of this service. He says it’s very easy to do.
    I guess he means ‘hacking’.
    My question is:
What could that mean technically speaking? What could that person possibly do to my sites?

    Thanks you for your reply!

  • I suspect that it is largely just talk on behalf of whoever is saying it. Obviously with enough skill or luck or a known security hole in some software, he could potentially hack one of your sites, but that’s just the same as any other hacker doing so. Stay up to date with your software, use strong passwords, take backups and you should be fine.

Also keep in mind that any such action on his part would be illegal in most countries, and you could potentially sue him for damages.

    Thanks for your reply mrmist.
But who’s to prove it will be him?
He says he’s done it before.
I am wondering what sort of damage could be done.

By ‘blitz’ he likely just means he’s gonna try and spam you with a lot of hits and lag your server out. Install wp-super-cache and fuhgeddaboutit.
