Three blogs one database?

  • Hi there!

    I have three wordpress websites:
    One is parent organization site and two of them are child sections. What I want to do is show all my events on all three sites.

    Is this possible if I don’t have WordPress MU installed?
    Do I need pro version? (I can’t find this info on official website)

  • do you mean those 3 blogs are installed individually without using multisite? if yes, not possible

    Maybe if you grabbed RSS/ical feeds you could generate something on each site, but they’d not be related i.e. you can’t inter book on sites etc.

    Yes make a network and then a plugin such as Diamond Multiside Widgets.
    You can have three blogs in one database as long as you remember to edit the table prefix in wp-config before installing. Theoretically you then can retrieve information from that database, but with a network, this will be easier.
