Three column format not working

Hi. I just installed your plugin and am trying to figure out why the column group text spans 1 column instead of 3. I noticed that when I look at the column.css file, it says that it is inactive. Is this because I am using a child theme? I installed the column.css file in my child theme folder, and that did not work, so I deleted it. So, I am thinking it probably has to do with a style that is setup in the twenty twelve theme. Here is a link to the page in question.
