• Ninja forms does a poor job of being unintrusive with it’s promotions and admin notices. When you run a multisite network it’s especially annoying to literally have to remove notices from over 100 sites. And the latest “THREE is coming” to announce Ninja Forms 3 is just straight out of the marketers guide to being jerks. Cmon Ninja forms, it’s a good product, don’t be jerks okay?

If I could I would switch to Visual Forms, it’s free version is very similar in features and I’ve never seen this type of intrusive marketing from them.

Aside from this ninja forms is a decent form builder. It’s interface is a bit rough around the edges, and it lacks an API to work with. If you want to programatitcally include a form you will be stuck with limited options, like do_shortcode. Would be nice if they would create a way to dynamically set some of the form options.

Sorry you feel that way. The banner is easily dismissed and it’s there so that current users are aware of the changes that are coming which is important as it’s such a dramatic change. We are trying to be proactive so users aren’t taken by surprise.

Speaking of the interface, that’s exactly one of the major changes coming in THREE and we hope it will go a long way for improving users experience.

As far as API and flexibility, absolutely every setting and function can pretty well be set and modified via code hooked into our hundreds of actions and filters. The shortcode is only one way of adding a forms. We have a straight function that can be used in the code as well.

While I may simply be misunderstanding what it is you want to do programmatically, Ninja Forms is quite developer friendly.

Thanks for your honest assessment from your perspective and I hope we can do better to impress you in the future.

I too would like to remove this banner.

I have paid for the whitelabel extension of the plugin, yet it has no affect upon this banner.

It is disappointing that there is not an easy way to prevent the banner from displaying.

The banner is easily dismissed? How? There is no close button.

And if you want to remove them in the code so they never show up you can use the nf_admin_notices filter.
