• Hello,

this is a great plugin, I’ve been using the class generator and I love it!

I’m finding issues with Thrive themes though, specifically Pressive. There seems to be some kind of conflict because at first it works and then things start to break. The animation occurs but the element to be animated is already in place before the animation.

    So for instance:

Say we have a paragraph with a slideUp animation on scroll. When the page loads you can see the element in its final position and then it disappears and the animation begins. Instead of being hidden in the beginning and then appearing with the animation.

I’ve seen it works for a while and then just breaks and a while later the animation won’t work, elements will just appear, I think that’s just the eds-scroll-visible part. It ignores the rest of the classes.

Note that with Thrive Architect, adding the classes into the styles field is the only way to use Animate It! since there is not backend editor.

I hope this makes sense, let me know if you need further explanation

I disabled the plugin on my website for now but I can activate it if you want to take a look at it.

    Thank you.

    Dear ,

Thanks for using the Animate It!

Generally, this issue happens when the javascript is not loaded on time.
I checked the website link and saw a Tordfence or similar blocking page

So please make sure to disable that when you enable the Animate It! plugin and let me know.

    Thanks.

Hello, thank you for the quick reply.

I’m sorry, I misspelled the URL, this is the correct one: odyssey1.wpengine.com

    Thanks!

    Dear Astrid,

I just checked the source code of odyssey1.wpengine.com and I notice that the Animate It! plugin does not seems to be installed.

Please check and let me know.

    Hello again,

I activated it and added some animations to the home page. See the part where it says “Business IT Services You Can Rely On” and all the text below that.

You can see the erratic behavior I’m talking about if you load the page and scroll down to that section. See how the text is there and then it disappears and the animation occurs. Instead of being hidden since the start and then appearing.

What’s weird is that when I first add the animation, it works correctly for some time and then it just breaks, even if I don’t edit anything.

Please let me know if what I’m saying makes any sense and if you need an username and password to access the backend.

    Thank you for your support!

    Dear Astridmanzo,

Yes, I am able to see the issue now.

Just to be sure, you have added this classes to the elements, right?
    eds-on-scroll animated slideInUp duration2

    And not any other class?

    Hello!

So, I see the problem now. I’m using the Class Generator and yes, I added: animated slideInUp delay1 duration1 eds-on-scroll – but for some crazy reason, after a while, eds-scroll-visible adds itself. ??!

Why do you think that’s happening?

    Thank you!

    Hey there,

any ideas on how to solve this?

    Thanks.

    Dear Astridmanzo,

    Sorry for the delayed reply.

Could you please reinstall the plugin so that we can do some more checks to identify the problem.

    Hi,

I installed it again, however I don’t have any classes added anywhere. As I said in my las post the problem is that the class eds-scroll-visible adds itself somehow. You can go in there if you need.

    Thanks.

    Dear Astridmanzo,

If possible, could you add it again for a short time?
Just add it on any page that’s not visible on the menu, and send me the link.

    Thanks.

I added it in the same place as last time on the home page. It usually takes a while before the visible class appears (or maybe when I move other stuff around).

    Thanks!

    Dear Astrid,

I just checked and the animations are working perfectly for me.
I checked on Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

Please check and let me know if they are working ok for you as well.

They work fine for a while and then that other class eds-scroll-visible gets added. I can let you know when it happens.

    Thanks.

    Sure thing.

I’ll check again in 20-30 mins.

It’s happening: https://odyssey1.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/Screen-Shot-2018-09-13-at-9.23.41-AM.png – see styles on the bottom left.

This time the slideinup animation, delay and everything is gone and it’s just “eds-on-scroll eds-scroll-visible” now.
