    Hi

I have a problem exporting csv files. When I change an option in “throubleshoot area” to change the character encoding to UTF-8 and save settings, it reverts changes back.

Now it even messed up the layout of the csv file – all the data is saved in column A (Excel) instead of all in separate columns. It makes file very messy.

Any help would be appreciated !!

    Hi,

When you select UTF-8 in the option “Character encoding” it applied the selected encoding and it keeps selected “current charset” (UTF-8 will be the new current charset).

Regarding to the data in separate columns please change the “Field separator for CSV files” settings field also in that settings area.

Thank you for using the plugin!

    Hi

    Thank you for your reply.

When I select UTF-8 it comes back to previous option after saving and when you export csv it doesn’t show special characters.

I tried changing “Field separator for CSV files” and it only changes , with ; but the file is still messed up.
