I was using wp cerber for several months without issue and as soon as it updated to 9.2 I experienced an issue. I login with CAPTCHA to the admin dashboard successfully, but when I attempt to navigate to a different area using any link in the option menu, I am forced out of the admin area to the site’s homepage. I haven’t added any plugins or changed any options in wpcerber. The only way for me to navigate in admin successfully again is if I remove the plugin from the directory. Any idea what might be causing the issue?

    Thanks!

All the answers in the WP Cerber logs. Go to the Activity tab, click “My activity”, check all “Logged out” events. Additionally, you can filter out the log entries you’re looking for by using filter “Logged out” in the first drop-down list.

Thanks. I don’t quite understand how I can use this suggestion to fix the issue. If I load the plugin initially I can get to the area you reference, but if I logout of the session and then attempt to login I successfully get to the dashboard but any admin menu option I click on sends me to the home page. The only way I can login to the admin menu and choose menu options successfully is if I remove the wpcerber plugin at the host.

Actually, I just fixed the issue. I reinstalled the plugin; deactivated it; then deleted it from the plugin list which removed all the settings and related data. I then logged into admin; reinstalled the plugin; logged out and logged in and everything went back to normal.
