    You can use an image as a link to the video. That’s the only way I think.

    There’s a Youtube API that allows you to get the screenshot for each video, but this is not the plugin related functionality.

    This can be done however, just google Youtube screenshots.

    Hi,
    I got this to work using a combination of plugins:

    – dFactory Responsive Lightbox Plugin (RLP)
    – Vixy Youtube Embed

    I configured RLP in fancybox mode.

    I used the youtube_thumb option to embed the video:

    youtube_thumb target=”_blank” rel=”lightbox” version=”hq” width=227 height=175 alt=”Demo video”]RRdnmQfT-tQ[/youtube_thumb]

    Now I get a thumbnail that when opened plays in lightbox via RLP.

    Works like a charm!
