thumbnail comment count for all socials

    Hi,
    Nowadays,comments are made by using, wp,fb,li,disq. ect.profiles.
    Thumbnails show the number of wp comments for a post. Can we add to this thumbnail count, to show the number of all comments to a post, a sum, independently of which social profile user did it?

  • Hi kerdezo. The theme uses the default WP “comments_number()” function in the three content.php files to retrive the post comment count from the wp_posts table. You could probably write your own function to retrieve that number, plus the other comment counts from wherever they’re stored in the database, and replace the WP function call with a call to your custom function.
