thumbnail cropping issue

  • i’ve looked through the forums and haven’t found an answer to this…

    i’ve successfully cropped all of the images in my media library and the thumbnails look correct when viewed in the media library;

    however, the moment i set a thumbnail in a post, the thumbnail reverts back to it’s lame square default crop size…

    anybody know why this is happening? why is this so difficult? i’m starting to lose faith in wordpress… hoping someone can help.

    i’ve even un-checked Settings>Media>Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions like i found in another forum questions, but that didnt help either.
