Thumbnail & Featured Images not showing

you need to get support from your theme vendor as you are using a commercial theme.

I faced this problem with timthumb script on a client server.

This not a very much tough thing after I did some research and found the following solution.

set the wp-content folder permissions to 755
set the themes folder permissions to 755
set the your theme folder persmission to 755
set the cache folder permissions to 755
set the timthumb.php permissions to 644

I hope it will help you guys sometime in future.

I have set the permissions as described and still no show featured images/post thumbnails.

The Young Exec was a client’s website from Elance & I did the same thing what I listed in the previous thread.

Whatever send me your website login info & cPanel login info to [email protected]
So that I can go live to your site’s backend & able to see what happened actually.

Have you installed “Get The Imgae” Plugin?
If not then Follow the steps

1. Make the folder permission as I described.
2. Install Get The Image Plugin & activate it.
3. As you are using Solostream Theme you must put off the automatic thumbnail generation from Theme Options or in a individual post.
4. Upload/Choose a Featured Image in WordPress backend for every post.
5. You are using DreamHost Service if the folder permission doesn’t work then contact DreamHost Support for exact Folder Permissions, what I listed was for HostGator, MediaTemple & BrainHost.

My featured slider is loading too slow at first time.
