thumbnail for facebook messenger uses old image

When I share any URL for this website, including the home page, in a Facebook messenger message, the thumbnail that is shared with the link is one that I have replaced in the configuration for this tool. I have cleared caches and tested this in multiple browsers, and no matter what I do, the old image is shared. I would upload a screen capture if this support forum would allow it, but trust me, it is using the WRONG image. And I have checked and rechecked the configuration for Graphite to confirm that the image that should be seen in thumbnails is:

but instead, I keep getting:
