Thumbnail images on archive page sometimes appear blurry

When I load the archive page for the first time in a while, all images appear blurry. If I click on the product and visit the single product page then return to the archive page, the thumbnail appears sharp but the rest are still blurry.

Does Woocommerce have some kind of optimization going on for thumbnail images?

I’m using the GeneratePress theme.
