thumbnail is not appearing while opening my website

  • hello,am using a comfy magazine theme for my website but in this site thumbnail is not working,the same theme am using another site with another host provider there is no problem with thumbnail.after that i checked with theme developer they told to me that is problem with your host provider so please check my problem and solve it.

  • How do you call the Thumbs? I doubt that the problem is with the host!

    That theme seems to use some custom PHP script to generate thumbnails instead of WordPress’ built-in image functions. For example:

    /wp-content/themes/Comfy/scripts/phpThumb/phpThumb.php?src=/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/sensation-xe-1.jpg&w=180&h=130&zc=T&q=95

    If your host doesn’t provide a required PHP library (my guess would be GD or ImageMagick) then the script wouldn’t be able to generate the the thumbnails.

    You’ll have to find out what is actually required from the theme developer, and then have your host install it, if that’s the case.
