    Challenge accepted! ??

I just hacked something together with the Simple Colorbox plugin and it’s working well.

The next update is almost ready and I will try to add this. I hope to publish it tomorrow or Sunday; Monday at the latest.

This is now available in version 1.21 if you also install the Simple Colorbox plugin.

Very cool. I wasn’t looking to throw down a challenge, just wanted to know if it was available.

I’m not sure what lightbox I’m currently using, I’ll see if it works and let you know.

    Thanks!

So, this works OK, but I was using the Simple Lightbox plugin on the page and need it for my gallery.

If I install and activate Simple Colorbox, with the Simple Lightbox activated, and create a view with a thumbnail lin, clicking on the thumbnail will open my image in both lightboxes.

I went in to the plugin and removed the dependency on Simple Colorbox and deactivated Simple Colorbox and it works fine.

I’m not sure the best way to go about this, do you need to specify a lightbox, or can you just make the thumbnail a link to the image?

Thanks for testing that. I should have asked what lightbox you were using. The Simple Colorbox dependency was short-sighted, but I didn’t want to include Colorbox in the plugin since it may already be present in a theme or gallery plugin.

With the lightbox option, I changed it to simply create a link. With no lightbox plugin, the browser will open the image and you have to use the Back button. With either plugin installed, it will open in a lightbox.

I will publish an update later today.
