    Hello,

Using the gallery in this plugin the thumbnail (poster?) got smaller. On desktop and mobile. When playing the video, the sizes are good. It might be a lazy-load thumbnail, but I cannot figure that out or find any settings for this.
    How can I solve this?

    Thanks!

Sorry. We don’t exactly follow what the problem is. Can you try re-explaining? Maybe creating a (loom) video?

We did notice also that the thumbnail image itself has black bars. See here:?https://i.ytimg.com/vi/GK-gGb3vZgE/maxresdefault.jpg

    Hi,

Yes, that was actually the thing why I started this topic. It would be nice if there are no black bars, like with the smaller thumbs.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

The plugin is only displaying what is being returned by YouTube and isn’t adding the bars. You can upload a custom thumbnail that doesn’t have the black bars though. There are plenty of how-tos for this if you google.

    Hi,

I tried a couple of different channels and they all came with black bars in the top thumbsnail. Especially because the smaller thumbs do fit well, I assumed it came from the plugin and not from the uploaders. But appearantly it does.

    Thanks!
