Thumbnail slider issue

Hi. I am trying to get the thumbnails to line up nicely next to eachother if I untick the Activate Responsive Slider I can do that by CSS however without that the whole wrapper div/ul above sits ontop of other elements to the right of it and makes them unclickable and unuseable. If I tick the repsonsive slider it fixes that but adds an element width to the li that is far to big and leaves a huge gap between each image thumbnail. What’s the best way around this? To edit the javascript that sets the element width or some other css?
