• Hello,

As soon as I activated the spun theme, it converted my posts into the circles found on the home page. However, my posts with images are not sized correctly. They are being squished horizontally or stretched horizontally to fit the square. The result is a warped image.

I don’t think I changed any CSS to make this happen as it was happening before I even touched the CSS. Could this be a php code issue?

    The original image sizes are:
    1200 × 1778 – squished horizontally
    717 × 960 – stretched horizontally
    872 × 391 – squished horizonally

I would post a link to my site, but I cannot keep it live until my issues are fixed so it is temporarily on another theme until I get this one sorted.

    Thank you for your help!

  • I’m having a similar issue. I did try using a plugin to reset my thumbnails but it didn’t make a difference. Is it just about setting a maximum width somewhere?

You can see the issue here: https://fatchic.net

A plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails will take care of this after activating the theme:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

The theme includes its own pre-defined thumbnail size, so your images will be reprocessed to the new thumbnail size after the plugin is run. This should fix any squishing or stretching.

Note that image thumbnails in Spun will be hard-cropped from the center to 360 x 360.

@drajchel, if the plugin didn’t work, I would contact the plugin developer for further support to find out why. I can tell from looking at the source that your thumbnails were not re-cropped to 360×360.
