Thumbnails can be viewed only once after update

I have the same problem !
When i clear the image cache (in the Gallery menu >> “Other Options” >>”Miscellaneous”), it works again, but only once.

Filenames – I have spaces also they are long.
I change on short (1.jpg, 2.jpg, …). Without the effect !

@wippzone – Please ensure you are using the latest version of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.77 or later) and then add the following to your functions.php file:

add_filter('ngg_get_image_url', 'ngg_replace_plus_with_percenttwenty', 10, 3);
function ngg_replace_plus_with_percenttwenty($url, $image, $size) {
    return str_replace('+', '%20', $url);
}

See if that helps … it will adjust for the spaces being used in your filenames which should be using the + symbol since 2005.

– I tested – but test failed
– I tried “refresh cache”
– I tested again, but still the same problem ??

@wippzone – There is still an issue with double-encoding on your site as seen with the numerous %25 instances in the URL … we are still working on sorting out the specifics of this particular problem.

@wippzone – We believe to have this specific issue sorted out and the correction has been committed to our next release branch. Essentially the change is in removing one line of code that is no longer needed.

In wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/nggallery.php:43 comment out or remove the following line:

$url = str_replace( '%', '%25', $url );

This should correct the “double-encoding” issue with the % symbol.
