    Hello,
    I’m having a strange issue. On my theme, which is a modification of the Twenty Fourteen theme, my NextGEN Gallery Thumbnails don’t work. They come up stacked on top of each other in a vertical column, and when they are clicked on, the browser goes to the image’s direct link page (so just the image shows, not the website).

    I’ve looked into this as other people seem to have similar problems. I tried disabling all my plugins except NextGEN to no avail. I’ve tried switching themes to another theme (‘Editor’) and the Gallery (& its thumbnails) work!!!

    So the issue must have something to do with my theme itself. Any suggestions???

    This post suggests a patch for module.attach_to_post.php

    Thank you…

    Just an update, thanks to this post I found the solution.

    The problem was that I commented out the php footer. I don’t get why this would be a problem but, alas…

    Update: the problem was because the php footer included:

    ?>
    </body>
    </html>

    So I just had to add that to the end of my page.php and it all worked!
