• Hellow.
I have been using World Press Related Posts since nine months ago and everything worked fine. But recently the pluging started to malfunction and now it doesnt use the featured image.

Today we have updated to WPRP 3.5.4 but remains the same

This is the link to our blog https://blog.qnatur.com/

    We use:
    – World Press 4.0.1 anf Twenty Twelve
    – jpg images (800 x 533)

    These are our advence settings:
    – enable themes
    – vertical (large)
    – display thumsnails for related posts
    – Auto Insert Related Posts(or add <?php wp_related_posts()?> to your single post template)

    Can you help us?

Thank you very much in advance

  • Hey,

thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you are having difficulties with our service.
Have you perhaps edited the posts via that orange “Edit Related Posts” button? And after that changed the featured image? Or does the featured image not get used when creating a new post?

    Looking forward to your reply,
    Petra

Hi Petra, thanks for your answer.
We always use the orange “edit related posts” buttoms to select other posts.

    Hey,

thanks for getting back to me! In that case, let’s say you have edit them via the orange button and later decided to change the image – the image won’t refresh. You need to click that orange button again, remove that article (that you have changed the image), save and close and then re-insert them again. This should refresh the image.

Let me know how it goes, take care and have an amazing day,
    Petra

The problem is that when you clik “edit related posts”, the image of the other posts to choose from is not the one suposed to be.

Is that image some random, generated image not part of the post or it’s just not the featured one? Would it be possible to make me a temporary account on your blog, so that I could have a closer look? You can send those credentials to support[at]zemanta[dot]com.

Let me know what you think, take care and have a nice day,
    Petra
