Thumbnails no longer showing after update

    Thanks for a great plugin and for the update after the YouTube API change, but video thumbnails are no longer showing for me after I updated from YCG version 1.87 to version 2.2.2. I’ve changed the thumbnail shortcode properties to reflect the new parameters, but I still can’t get any thumbnails. (The main video shows just fine.)

    Any ideas?

    try this:

    I am having the same issue with the following shortcode.

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery feed=”playlist” user=”PLL0fOoZ8DvxEX0UMfvvnS-QEyJn_gCmCQ” feedorder=”asc” videowidth=”500″ ratio=”16×9″ theme=”light” color=”white” quality=”small” autoplay=”1″ rel=”1″ showinfo=”1″ maxitems=”50″ thumbwidth=”200″ thumbratio=”16×9″ thumbcolumns=”1″ title=”1″ description=”1″ thumbnail_alignment=”left” descriptionwordsnumber=”10″ link_window=”0″ player=”0″]

    Ignore the above, working fine in 2.2.2. Thumbnails seem to take a while to appear initially.

    Unfortunately still not working for me with the new shortcode you gave, still no thumbnails showing.

    For me there is a problem:

    Error type: “Forbidden”. Error message: “Daily Limit Exceeded” Domain: “usageLimits”. Reason: “dailyLimitExceeded”. Location type: “”. Location: “”.

    Check in YouTube if the id PodSlonkiem belongs to a channelid. Check the FAQ of the plugin or send error messages to support.

    Previously everything worked.
    How do I fix this?

    Yes, after updating to 2.2.2 I too am not seeing thumbnails anymore. This problem appears on 2 different WordPress sites I run.

    Here is the code I run:

    Thumbnails are now showing for me with the new shortcode you gave, thanks so much!

    Now I have a new issue though: Everything works fine in Google Chrome and Safari, but not in Firefox. When I try to play a video from within the plugin, I only get a black screen with the message “An error occurred. Please try again later.” This applies to not just the small thumbnails, but the main video as well. And again, it only happens in Firefox.

    I’ve made sure to clear all server and WP caches but thumbnails still not showing.

    Youtube_Channel_Gallery Is the new shortcode?

    this is the right solution for me! thank you WPChina!

    Enter the API key in the plugin, has left a place for entry then will the plugin to work. good luck
