Thumbnails not cropping square, Portfolium (WPSHOWER) theme.

  • Hey guys I need your help. I’m using the Portfolium theme from WPSHOWER that should display square thumbnails.

    However my site is not cropping the images square at all:

    Instead my thumbnails are resizing the full images proportionally. You call that dynamically right? Anyways…

    The post with the yellow teardrops is the default image when no Featured Image is provided but my other two posts, the thumbnails are of the entire image resized proportionally. When I installed the theme, going into Settings > Media, the Media Settings for the Thumbnail sizes were automatically placed in there and can’t be changed from 145 x 145. The option, “Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)” is also checked so I don’t understand why it isn’t working.

    When I used the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin, nothing changed. Even when I made a number of new posts with entirely different images that were never uploaded into my Media Library before, nothing changed. It was still resizing the Featured Images proportionally and not cropping them at 145 x 145.
