Thumbnails not showing

Using WP 6.7, list display, the posts have an image each, but no thumbnail is displayed. It seems that the image is not found, because the default image is inserted instead: “Show the default image if no thumbnail found” is checked; if not checked, no image at all is displayed.

No page to show, I am just experimenting with a local installation.
