ThumbPress Plugin conflict

Hi
My client had an issue with the file manager not adding images to galleries the file manager just sat spinning.
After some troubleshooting it appears that the ThumbPress plugin (https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/image-sizes/) was causing the issue the minute i disabled this plugin it started working.
