Thumbs down to annoying Dashboard notifications

  • 1. Useful plugin.
    2. Too bad it’s almost a necessary plugin.
    3. 1-star to all those plugin devs who abuse the WordPress Dashboard admin notification DIV well after a license has expired. I already paid for it, probably don’t want to pay for another minor update, stop bothering me!

    On a side note, guys, you have a typo on your Settings page > HIDE ADMIN NOTICES. The 3 tabs read, “All notices” “Only selected” and “Don’t nide.” Me think that last button was supposed to read “Don’t hide.”

    Also, please consider removing your “News” Dashboard widget that I had to hard code with “display:none.” ‘Hiding’ it within the Screen Options drop-down is not an option for most of us who then have to resort to using custom css.

    Yup, display:none + disabling the screen options drop-down is more efficient for me – I don’t like delivering a site with a cluttered Dashboard page, and I don’t want clients ‘accidentally’ enabling anything from that drop-down.
