Thunderbird Posting by E-mail

  • I have been trying to post to my blog with Thunderbird recently. I dislike how my lines are wrapped. I’m not certain if this is a problem with wp-mail (default install, not a hack) or with Thunderbird. I’ve tried sending with HTML, and it seems to wrap it still, but formats ok, and plaintext, I can tell it not to wrap unless the line is an incredibly long length, but still wraps.

    What can I do to fix this? Is it as simple as finding a WordPress plugin or a hack?

  • Try looking in your thunderbird options for something to do with line wrapping.

    WordPress only works with what it’s given. You could put something in your CSS to not display <br /> tags, but it’s kldugy and you might want to use <br /> genuinely at some stage.

    Yeah. I think maybe I just need to shop around for a wp-mail replacement. I’m sure someone else has wanted to have similar results.
