    Hello,

Once the blog post title is too long, it will disappear and will be not shown until the next title will fade in. In addition it would be great to decide how many letters of the title will be shown as a maximum and if the topic title is longer than the defined maximum numbers of letters than a “…” will be added.

    Hello,

Thanks for your feedback! The ticker should display long titles properly without disappearing. I’ve tested it on all my testing site, and it’s working as expected. This might be caused by theme styles or another plugin affecting the ticker.

Could you check if the issue persists with a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) and no other plugins activated? Also, please share your website URL so I can take a closer look.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Hello Iftekhar,

    check it on: https://www.glamnews.de/startseite

Check the top area above the header. Its the recent post title which is not showing, as I tried a very long post title in order to see how it will appear. It is not appearing and you have to wait few seconds to see the next title.

So even if you solve it and let it appear, it will not be perfect for the design and will destroy the theme. The solution here would be to put “…” once the post title exceeds a certain limit of letters which can be adjusted. By the way I am using the DIVI theme.

    Hello Br,

Thank you for your patience and for sharing the details. I’ve checked your site, and I understand your concern about long post titles affecting the design.

Currently, limiting the title length and adding “…” (ellipsis) is kept as a Pro feature. However, don’t worry! Based on your request, I’ll be adding this feature to the free version in the next release.

This way, you’ll have control over the title length without affecting the layout. Stay tuned for the update!

Let me know if you have any further questions. ??

    Best regards,

    Hi @kadrikabbani,

I hope you’re doing well! Apologies for the delayed response; I was unable to reply from my main account due to some account restrictions, but now that I have access through my support account, I can get back to you.

Regarding the new update, it will take a few more days to be released. I’m currently tied up with another big project, but I should be able to manage time and release it within a week or so. Thanks for your patience!

As for collaborating on future plugin development, I really appreciate the offer, and it sounds exciting! However, due to some ongoing health challenges, I’m unable to take on any partnership projects at the moment. I’m working solo for now, but I’m glad to hear about your interest.

Thank you again for reaching out, and I’ll keep you posted on the update!

    Best regards,

    Hello Br,

As promised, the title limit option is now available! You can find it under the Ticker Contents tab, labeled as Post Title Max. Length. This option applies to Category and Tag tickers to prevent layout issues.

Also, note that the Ticker Settings location has changed. You’ll now find it in the WordPress admin main menu under “T4B Ticker.”

Please update to the latest version and check it out. Let me know if you have any questions!

    Best regards,
    Iftekhar
