Ticker scrolls only once on iPhone

    I am using the Elementor page builder and displaying the news ticker short code in the Elementor short code element just below the header at the top of the background image. The news ticker displays correctly on my desktop using FireFox and Chrome and also displays correctly on my Android tablet using FireFox. However, the news ticker scrolls only once and then stops (with nothing displaying on screen) on my iPhone with Safari. Even stranger is that if I open the page in landscape (ie holding phone sideways) the ticker works correctly but opening the page with the phone vertical (portrait) causes the problem. Any ideas on whats going on?

    What iphone and ios are you using? I have an iPhone XR, using iOS 12.3.1 and the ticker on your site is working correctly for me in both portrait and landscape mode.

    I have an iPhone 6S and just upgraded to iOS 12.3.1 after getting your reply. The issues is the same. Only one tick (of 2) shown then nothing shown in portrait mode, all OK in landscape.

    Just to double check, what color is the text of the ticker. It should be black on tablet and phone devices.

    Thanks, I was able to check it out in Browstack on an iPhone 6S and am seeing your issue. This is very strange and I can’t think of a reason why this would be happening… If you could, please try changing your scroll spacing to something much smaller like 20 pixels instead of 400. I wonder if the amount of space along with the small screen size is leading to some bad calculations within my code.

    If it works after making the spacing smaller, I would suggest adding 2 more ticks and just duplicate the 2 that you currently have. This will make the scrolling more seamless, since a tick will not re-appear on the screen until it has completely left.

    Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks for taking the time to work with me on this very strange issue. Your suggestion to change the Tick Spacing on the Ticker Mode panel to 20 solved the problem.

    Additionally, I tried various Tick Spacing and discovered any value of 368 or less works and any Tick Spacing of 369 or more does not work.

    Great, thanks for letting me know. That’s very interesting. It must be an issue whenever the spacing is more than the browser width (even though 369 is a bit less than the iphone width… it’s pretty close).
