Some reason Im getting an error message on this. I know this is beta but I would like it to work.

    Warning: imap_open(): Couldn’t open stream {imap.gmail.com:993/imap/ssl}INBOX in /homepages/35/d155142382/htdocs/btb2014/wp-content/plugins/js-support-ticket/modules/ticketviaemail/model.php on line 35
    IMAP Authentication cancelled

I tried opening a support ticket but for some reason that too is broken stating its missing something when I submit it. Although all information is there.

Im a paid user of the pro system.

    Hi,

    Multiple reason of this error.

    1. It is a generic failure message. Please doublecheck your email and password. Some cheap hosting accounts don’t allow connections to outside mail services like GMail.

    2. You need to enable imap access in GMail settings.

    3. Some time GMail mark login request suspicious.

    4. Your hosting server block 993 port.

    Hi

I’ve tried it many ways, I created an email with outlook.com (same error), I created an email on my host (same error).
Used and existing email on hotmail, same error.

I already have a CRM, but since I moved my site over to wordpress, I liked your product and really want to use it. Hence I paid for the pro.

So I got a little more curious and entered my newly created email account into my old CRM (as the account i want it to check spits out an error when trying to connect to gmail) that wasn’t working with JS Ticket and:

    Connecting to {imap.1and1.com:993/imap/ssl/novalidate-cert}INBOX
    1 Date: Fri, 10 Jul 2015 02:10:49 +0200
Subject: A message from 1&1 Internet
From: “1&1 Internet Inc.” <[email protected]> To: [email protected]

    2 Date: Thu, 9 Jul 2015 20:13:06 -0400
    Subject: test
From: James Butler <James.Butler@***.com> To: “[email protected]” <[email protected]>

They both were read and picked up by the system. There is something wrong with JS Ticket, or just mine.

    Hi,

Most probably, IMAP is not allow in Gmail.

    To enable IMAP
    – From the dashboard, go to Apps > Google Apps > Gmail > Advanced settings
    – In the Organizations section, select the organizational unit for which you want to configure settings
    – Under POP and IMAP Access, select or clear the check box for Disable POP and IMAP access for all users in the domain

You can also check in outlook.

I just double checked and its all set to allow imap. What I can’t figure out is why its getting an error when I have other web apps accessing it with no problems as I’ve shown above.

Im a business app user with gmail and have my own domain. Is your script logging the user name with the full email address provided? I find it odd that it cannot access any of the email addresses I’ve tested with outlook, 1and1, hotmail and gmail. They all error out.

I know its not a hosting issue as it works with other scripts.

    Im at a loss.

    Alright,

Line 45 of model.php I changed $username to $emailaddress and that has cleared my connectivity issue with connecting to gmail. It states the connection was made but unable to read email.

Its late here so Im hitting the sack, will let you know how it turns out tonight.

    Hi,

Remember system will read only new emails and it read emails when WP cron job run.

You can add cron job in hosting panel (cpanel), check the ‘Cron Job’ section on ticket via email page.
