Ticket generation issue

    Have been using the plug-in and it’s great. However, approx 1 in 50 orders it doesn’t generate numbers. It’s completed the order but comes up with a button whereby you have to click generate tickets.

    I’ve noted which orders have done it and there seems to be no reason for it. Any ideas please?

    Would you have an error log available to view?

    If the order has is pending/failed/on hold at checkout, the raffle tickets won’t be generated.

    Could you turn on error log on your website, and let it run for some time, and send me the file?

    If the tickets are not generated properly an error it will be displayed on that file.

    No, it goes through the normal stages. Ie processing then complete and the payment goes through however it doesn’t generate the ticket numbers. I have to manually click generate numbers and then it creates them.

    I will try the error log and come back to you?

    Do you have any custom hooks on processing / completed order?

    Do you use caching plugins?

    If you could try the error log and see if any errors are generated, it would be something to start on.

    I now have the error logs for the failed number generation. Do you have an email address I can send it over to please?

    Thank you for sending the log file.

    I’ve looked over it, and there are not issue from the raffle plugin.

    Instead there are a few from other plugins that might cause the woocommerce order not trigger the hooks properly.

    One in particular that has a few issues is paytriot. Also a few issues are coming from functions.php.

    My final conclusion is that the raffle plugin is not throwing any errors. I suspect the hook where is generating the raffle tickets doesn’t get triggered occasionally.

    You should get in touch with the plugins’ owners where PHP Notices are raised and fixed them.

    This is my conclusion after inspecting the .log file. The raffle plugin has no errors or notices triggered.
