When I submit a ticket, the page comes up formatted this way:
    https://www.mywebsite.com/ticket/story-request-test/

    But I get the error:
“Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.”

It appears the “ticket” custom post type is not registered properly. The tickets show up in the post type on my dashboard/admin panel, and I can see the ones submitted shown on the list, but can’t view the contents of the actual ticket.

Now, I *DID* delete the original Plugin Pages and used my own for the submission and viewing of tickets. I am calling my “help desk” feature “Direct Connect” and named the pages as follows:

    Ticket Submission = Connect Request
    Tickets List = Connections

But the above didn’t modify the post type, of course. How can I fix this?

Have you tried refreshing your permalinks after installing the plugin?

Looks like that did the trick!!

    Hi Craig and Julian,

I have understood the trick but haven′t been able to solve it and have still the 404 error page.

When installing the plugin, i haven′t had the 2 pages created and have created my own pages.

    Can you help?

If you have created your own pages, you need to select them in the plugin settings and add the following shortcodes in the pages:

    • [tickets] for the tickets list page
    • [ticket-submit] for the submission page
