In the meantime, you can downgrade The Events Calendar to its previous version.

Thanks for the update – however I am still unable to update as it doesn’t work with the Classic Editor plugin running (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/conflict-with-classic-editor-3/ | Internal ref: BTRIA-906)

I’ve now tested this on a site that doesn’t have the Classic Editor plugin and can confirm that this has been resolved.
