tif appears broken

In the Add Media window that shows all my uploads, tif files appear broken. I understand they are not for display on the web, but I need people to download them. It doesn’t really matter that there is no thumbnail shown, such as for jpg and gif, but there should be something. Having a broken icon thing makes it appear as if the file was not uploaded properly or has gone missing.
You have icons for PDF and DOC files (little document-looking things) and even a little box icon for zip files – none of these can be viewed on the web either. I think you need to have an icon for tif – and any other image file that can’t be properly viewed online. Just a little picture icon or something – anything that makes it seem like there is something there. The broken icon instills panic in me every time I see it!
This seems like an easy add, so I hope to see it soon.
