Tiled Galleries do not work

I recently installed jetpack, mainly for the use of tiled galleries. However, I cannot get them to show up in my posts. Here is what I did…

1) Enabled tiled galleries in jetpack settings
2) Checked box for “use tiled galleries” in media settings
3) Created new gallery, chose Type=Square Tiles

When I look at the text version of my post, it has the proper shortcode: [gallery type="square" ids="69,71,72,70"]

However, when I actually view my post I still see the original wordpress style gallery, no tiles.

The only plugins I have running are Jetpack and Akismet.
