Hi there, I noticed that the beautiful Tiled Gallery block is using the WordPress CDN and loading the images from i0.wp.com, i1.wp.com etc.

But I have disabled the CDN module in Jetpack and don’t want the gallery block to use CDN because of EU-GDPR. How can I force it to only use the local image sources?

Or maybe this is a bug and it shouldn’t load from the CDN if both “Asset CDN” and “Image CDN” Jetpack modules are disabled?

    Hi @w-sky,

The Tiled Gallery block automatically serves images through Jetpack’s Image CDN, even if the Site Accelerator feature is disabled. Unfortunately, there is no option to force it to use local image sources.

If you’d prefer not to use the CDN for GDPR reasons, a possible workaround is switching to the regular Gallery block instead, which will serve images directly from your local site.

The Tiled Gallery block requires the CDN because it handles multiple images with complex layouts and dynamic resizing, which would otherwise strain the server, unlike simpler blocks like the Image block that display single images without these demands.

Let me know if that helps.
